We are not sure how the song spread, but the dancing cow meme videos based on the song were released around July 2020. On July 13, 2020, YouTube user Dejman uploaded for the first time a 1-hour video version of a dancing cow by simply constantly repeating the opening lyrics of the song. In less than a month, the video has been viewed more than 100,000 times and as of today there are several versions that have been viewed over a million times.
